My first new series for 2023 is called "Jesus Is..." At the start of each month I'll share a little verse, some Scriptures and a prayer of thanks!
Jesus is of course infinite and He is so many things to so many people. The list of all the wonderful things Jesus is to us would never end as an infinite God can never be captured with a finite number of words!
Within this series however, I hope to give us some simple truths to dwell on and give thanks for at the beginning of each month. I pray these verses are a blessing to you as we consider just some of the incredible things Jesus is!

Jesus Is...Our Creator
John 1:1-3
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

Jesus Is...Our Creator
John 1:1-3
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”
Our very body, heart and soul was fashioned by our Maker.
He orchestrated all our days and knit our form together.
The Author of our life indeed, oh praise His name forever!"
Colossians 1:16
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
Psalm 139:13-16
“For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skilfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.”
Let's Pray
Heavenly Father, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and Creator of my soul, thank You Father. Thank You for knitting me together in my mother’s womb and gifting me with life. Thank You that amid all the things You have created, You see me as a valuable part of that creation!
Thank You that You saw me as someone worth creating!
I praise You for You are the One who has numbered my days, given them purpose and meaning and brought me into existence for Your glory.
Use my life I pray to bless others and bring honour to Your name.
In Jesus’ mighty name I ask these things. Amen.
