But God...Is Always With Us

My second new series for 2023 is called, "But God..." There are so many places in the Bible where these two words appear and turn a situation around. Sometimes they remind us that although circumstances may seem one way, when God is placed in the middle of things, it can change our focus and perhaps even the outcome completely!

I thought it might be a great encouragement for us to take a look at just some of these statements as we journey through the year. I'm sure we all have many "But God" moments in our own lives to speak of so I hope these verses can inspire us to give thanks to our Saviour and share our own "But God" experiences with others!

But God...Is Always With Us

Genesis 48:21
“Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you and take you back to the land of your fathers.””

Acts 7:9
“Because the patriarchs were jealous of Joseph, they sold him as a slave into Egypt. But God was with him.”
"Two words within the Bible that cut right through the strife.
Two simple words with power that can change a person’s life.
These words can speak to every heart, whatever path is trod.
We know in every circumstance, apply the words, “But God…”

Others may abandon us, although it breaks our heart.
Death may separate us now and tear our souls apart.
But God will never leave us, His promises hold true.
His presence ever-faithful, He will always see us through."

Matthew 28:20
“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Point Of Praise
Thank You Lord that though others may leave me, break promises or be separated from me through the sadness of death, You are always with me. You never leave me nor forsake me. What a privilege it is to know that You are my constant companion, protector and friend. I thank You and I praise You for this gift today.
