This week we return to my, "But God" series. For March, I thought it might be a comfort for us to remember that the battle is not ours, but God's.

2 Chronicles 20:15
“And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.””

"Two words within the Bible that cut right through the strife.
Two simple words with power that can change a person’s life.
These words can speak to every heart, whatever path is trod.
We know in every circumstance, apply the words, “But God…”

Forces might intimidate and cause us great dismay.
Opposition might arise and threaten us each day.
But God defends His children, so we need not give in.
He fights our every battle and the war belongs to Him!"


Jeremiah 1:8
“Do not be afraid of their faces,
For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.”

Exodus 14:14
“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Point Of Praise
I praise You Jesus that You are Jehovah Tsaba, The Lord My Warrior. Thank You that You defend me and fight for me. I praise You that I can rest today and not be fearful, knowing that the battle belongs to You. No one is a match for Your strength and this fills my heart with worship and adoration for You. Praise You Jesus!
