You Are A New Creation

Last week we took a final look at John 14:6 and focused on Christ's statement, "I Am The Life."

As a parallel, this week we reflect on the beautiful truth that if we have accepted Jesus, The Life, as our Saviour then we have been given eternal life and are now a new creation!

Jesus said, “I Am The Life.”
Therefore as a Christian, You Are A New Creation.

2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

"Whatever be our past mistakes, whatever came before,
We know that thanks to Jesus, God remembers them no more!
He paid for every idle word and every wicked scheme.
Behold, sin’s record is erased, the slate has been wiped clean!

Renewed in mind and spirit, He purifies the heart.
Blessed with fresh beginnings, we embrace a brand-new start!
Fit for Kingdom service and free from condemnation,
O’ child of God, rejoice for you are now a new creation!"


Galatians 6:14-15
“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ…For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.”

Ephesians 4:23-24
“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness."

Colossians 3:9-10
“Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.”
