Having celebrated Easter in the last few days, what better truth to focus on this month than the fact that Jesus is our Saviour!
Jesus Is...Our Saviour Luke 2:11
“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.”
Psalm 62:7
“In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God.”
"Jesus is our Saviour, His death redeemed our soul!
Christ is our salvation and His vict’ry takes control!
No longer slaves to sin and death, through Jesus we are saved.
All glory to the King of kings! Oh may His name be praised!"
Matthew 1:21
“And she will bring forth a Son,
and you shall call His name Jesus,
for He will save His people from their sins.”
1 Timothy 1:15-17
“This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all long-suffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
Let's Pray
Father God, I come into Your courts today with praises on my lips and gratitude in my heart! Thank You for being my Saviour. Thank You for dying on the Cross to pay for my sins and redeem my soul for eternity. No longer am I sold out to sin and a slave to the bondage of corruption, for You have purchased my life with Yours and saved me! Words seem insufficient to express just how thankful I am for the divine gift of salvation. May all the praise, glory and honour go to You Lord, my beautiful Saviour. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
