Last week we took a look at truth which is mentioned in John 14:6. It reads,
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.””
The book of John also tells us in Chapter 8, verse 32,
“And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”
If Jesus said He is the Truth then as a Christian, you are set free!
Jesus said, “I Am The Truth.” “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.””

If Jesus said He is the Truth then as a Christian, you are set free!
Therefore as a Christian, You Are Set Free!
John 8:31-32
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."”
"What a wondrous liberty! It fills the heart with glee
To have the sound assurance that in Jesus we are free!
Beyond just mere “opinion” or one’s subjective view,
He brings us out of bondage to dwell in what is true.
No longer held to ransom or captive by our sin,
We’re pardoned with the promise of eternal life with Him!
The amnesty Christ gives us is all we really need.
O’ child of God, rejoice for you are truly free indeed!"
Galatians 5:1
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
Luke 4:17-19
“And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.””
