Last week we had a look at Jesus' statement in John 14:6 where He said,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
This makes it very clear that there is only one way to Heaven and that's through Jesus Christ. Let's align this truth with His words in John 6:44 where He says,
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
These words highlight the beautiful truth that those who DO come to Jesus, come because they have been called by God Himself. God's voice calls to all mankind, it's up to us if want to listen and respond.
In a parallel to last week's "I Am" verses, this week we take a look at September's "You Are" poem. If Jesus said, "I Am the way," then according to the Scriptures, as a Christian you are chosen by God!

Come into His presence, may we sing in one accord.
Serve our King with gladness, praise and bless His name.
He called us out of darkness, His mercy we proclaim!
Behold His royal priesthood, a chosen generation.
Selected by our Maker as a special, holy nation.
Yes make a joyful shout and give our Saviour great applaud.
O’ child of God, rejoice for you are chosen by our God!"
John 15:16
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
Romans 8:29-30
“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
