Turn worry into worship, the Lord will hear your cry.
Rejoice, for God has said that you’re the apple of His eye.
Psalm 18:6
“In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.”
Is there a distressing situation in your life right now that you’d like to bring before God’s Throne? Let’s lift our voices to the heavenly courts of Jesus and cry out together for His help.
Father of mercy and God of all comfort, I praise You and offer You thanks today that You are a God who hears the cries of His children. You are a God who cares and is mighty to save. Lord, You know the things that are upsetting me today, you know what’s weighing on my heart and causing grief and distress in my life. I ask You to speak into those situations right now, and may Your perfect peace flood my heart and mind. May Your comfort soothe my soul, and Your goodness give me a sense of the safety and security I dwell in as Your child.
Calm my racing thoughts, steady my breathing, I pray, and may I rest in You today, and every day as I journey this life with You. I ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
