To conclude May we take a couple of minutes to meditate on Lamentations 3:22-26. This is one of my favourite passages of Scripture so I hope you enjoy this little couplet and prayer. L x
Turn worry into worship; His faithfulness prevails.Glorify your mighty God! The One who never fails!
Lamentations 3:22-26
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.”
Have life’s circumstances caused you to doubt God’s faithfulness? Let’s be honest about our emotions as we come into God’s sanctuary today.
Faithful Father, I come into Your sanctuary today seeking sanctuary. Thank You for Your faithfulness to me over the years and please help me to remember this faithfulness when I face new challenges. I know You will grant me the strength I need to face each day as it comes, and equip me to handle life’s trials according to Your unending strength. It’s good that I am reminded where my strength comes from and it’s good that I hope and wait upon You, because You are always faithful to meet my needs. I praise You for this wonderful truth today. Amen.
