Jesus Is our Peace

Well I can't believe it but here is the last verse in my 2023, "Jesus Is..." series! This year we've gone through Scriptures and verses that show us Jesus is our Creator, Father, Friend, Saviour, Warrior, Advocate, Righteousness, Refuge, Strength, Rock, Anchor, Hope and now finally, our Peace.

In a month when things can get chaotic and many factors can rob us of our peace, I pray these words and Scriptures can really encourage and uplift our hearts today.

I hope you've found this series helpful as we've gone through the year and may the Prince of Peace reign in us heart, mind and soul this Christmastime! God bless you and I praise the Lord that Jesus is so many amazing things to us! Love Lucy x
Jesus Is...Our Peace

John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

"Jesus is our Prince Of Peace, in Him we find our rest.
His peace surpasses knowledge and will see us through each test.
Though many tribulations may often vex the soul,
It guards our heart and mind to know that Christ is in control."

Ephesians 2:13-18
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.”

Philippians 4:6-7

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Psalm 29:11
“The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.”

Let’s Pray

Lord Jesus, my Prince of Peace, the One who brings my heart, mind and soul rest, I praise You and thank You today. I’m so grateful that Your peace overrules the chaos of my circumstances and goes beyond my understanding.
There are so many times in my life Lord, when Your peace has protected me within uncertain and stressful situations. Your peace truly is divine in nature and I ask that You would fill me with that peace now. You are my Sabbath.
Let Your peace reign in my heart, mind and soul today as I find my rest in You.
In Jesus’ name I ask these things. Amen.
