For the month of May, my "You Are" verses take a look at yet another wonderful benefit of being a Christian. When we believe in Jesus as our personal Saviour, we are adopted into His family and become a child of God!
Eternal life is promised to those who believe in His name and have become children of God. What an incredible blessing and I pray this reminder can encourage our hearts today.

John 1:12

God the Father warmly welcomes each and every child!
Though orphaned through rebellion and set adrift by sin,
Our Saviour has adopted us and calls us home to Him!
Behold what love our Father shows, a love like none before.
Redeemed into His family, a child of wrath no more.
Such grace and mercy He bestows, no other could compare.
O’ child of God, rejoice for you are now a Kingdom heir!"
