Mr Robin

Here we have anther one of my "Capturing the moment" poems! This time, my inspiration came from a little robin who was visiting the garden one day.
I see you, Mr Robin! You’ve come superbly dressed.
Your rosy front is spiffing and it makes you look your best!
A splendid choice of outfit, quite dignified and smart.
Your crimson tux is marvellous, splashed across your heart.

Today I heard you singing a cheery, chirpy song.
Warmer days are coming sir, it really won’t be long!
I see you hopping keenly to get going on your way
But please do come again young man, you’re welcome any day!

Matthew 6:26
“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
