Prophecies Fulfilled By Jesus Christ- Not A Bone Of The Lamb Will Be Broken

November's concluding verse takes a look at how Jesus fulfilled the prophecy that not a bone of the Sacrificial Lamb would be broken.

When I think of what Jesus went through so that people like me could come into a relationship with Him, it fills my heart with awe and gratitude.

In a month when we remember so many who have laid down their lives for our freedom with Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, may we take a moment to give thanks to God for the ultimate sacrifice made by His Son on our behalf. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain so that we might be free! Holy, Holy, Holy is our Saviour, seated on His Throne in the Heavens and worthy of all our praises!
Prohecies Fulfilled By Jesus Christ- Not A Bone Of The Lamb Will Be Broken

“Behold the Man upon the Cross who breathes His final breath,
He pays the price for every sin and saves us with His death.
His sacrifice predicted when the prophecy was spoken;
The Scriptures finally fulfilled for not a bone was broken.”

Prophecy found in Exodus 12:46
"In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break one of its bones."

Also in Numbers 9:12
"They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break one of its bones. According to all the ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it."

And Psalm 34:20
"He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken."

Fulfilment found in John 19:31-36
"Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe.
For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.”"
