Prophecies Fulfilled By Jesus Christ- Jesus Is The Great I AM

It always gives me goosebumps to think of the impact Jesus' words would have made when He declared to be God Himself, the Great I Am! We read in the Bible that for some, this claim made them tear their clothes in outrage while others rejoiced and praised the Lord with tears in their eyes!

How does your heart respond to Jesus and His claim of divinity? Does it challenge you or give you cause to rejoice? I know where I stand with the Creator of all things and He makes my spirit sing!

Prohecies Fulfilled By Jesus Christ- Jesus Is The Great I AM!

“Moses was commanded to go and make it known,
The Great “I Am” had sent him forth from His mighty Throne.
Then Jesus stated clearly as God’s one and only Son,
He was the Eternal God! The Great “I Am” had come!”

Prophecy found in Exodus 3:13-15
"Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’"

Fulfilment found in John 4:26
"Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”"

And John 8:58
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
