There are countless blessings to having Christ in your heart and knowing Him as your personal Saviour, too many to list really as He is so many wonderful things to His children! My little poem called “He Is…” mentions just a few and I wrote these words in one sitting.
The verses are words of praise that came from my heart one evening and so I hope they can uplift and edify as we dwell on some of the many benefits of Jesus.

He is Author of Salvation, my Strength and my Redeemer.
He’s the One who stole my heart and turned me into a believer!
He is Shelter for His people and a Strong and Mighty Tower.
He is El Shaddai who sees us and defends us every hour!
He is Advocate for all accused, a Refuge from the storm,
The One who is our Hiding Place to keep us safe and warm.
He is Comforter, Companion, He’s a Shield in times of strife.
He is Counsellor and Mighty God who guides us through this life.
He is Lord of Truth and Justice with no error in His sight.
He is Righteousness Personified, the Everlasting Light.
He is Ruler of the Nations and the Son of the Most High,
He is King of kings and Lord of lords, the One to glorify!
He is Peace in times of trouble and a Shepherd for the lost.
He is Jesus the Messiah for He paid the highest cost.
He is Life and He is Healer who can cure each dark condition.
Oh praise Jehovah Rapha for He is the Great Physician!
He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End!
He is Hope and Truth and Love and Joy, an ever-faithful Friend.
He is Everlasting Father and the Lion and the Lamb.
He is Husband to the Bride of Christ and He’s the Great I Am!
He is infinitely glorious, the One whom I adore.
He is Jesus Christ my Saviour who I’ll love forevermore!
